Ayesha Takia is one of the renowned actresses of the Indian Film Industry. Ayesha was born on 10th April, 1986 and has been brought up in Mumbai. She is from the mixed family as her father is Gujarati and her mother is British Marathi. Ayesha grew up speaking English at home and she had to learn Hindi and Telugu for her film roles.

Ayesha has been the model since she was just 4 years of age, when she appeared in the famous advertisement for Complan – saying ‘I am a Complan Girl’ cited along with Shahid Kapoor. Besides, this Ayesha also appeared in the music video by Falguni Pathak fame Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye, at the age of 15 years. The next video shoot for Shake It Daddy, brought her to the attention of Indian Film Industry which followed by a few film offers to Ayesha Takia. This proved to be the turning point and she started her journey to the success.

Ayesha has already grabbed the Filmfare award for her role in the film called Taarzan. According to a poll conducted by an Indian TV Channel called Zoom during the year 2006, Ayesha has been ranked amongst top 10 on the list of India’s 50 most desirable women alive.
