Madhuri Dixit was born on 15th May. 1967 to her father Shankar Dixit and mother Snehlata Dixit belonging to the Marathi Chitpavan Brahmin family hailing in Mumbai. She is one of the biggest stars and the award-winning Indian 
Bollywood actress who needs no introduction.
Joining the Parle College, she wanted to be the Micro-biologist. She is the trained dancer of the Indian traditional dancing called Kathak. During the decade between 1980s and 1990s, Madhuri dominated the Film Industry as the leading actress and did many successful films. She became the icon of the Indian Film Industry.
She made her debut through ‘Abodh’ in 1984 followed by ‘Tezaab in 1988 which established her career very strongly. She has won many prestigious awards including Filmfare Awards.
She married to America based Indian Cardiovascular surgeon named Dr. Sriram Madhav Nene in 1999 and settled down with him in the United States. She is the mother of two beautiful sons Arin and Ryan.
